Part II: Making the Cane

Step 13
Cut the yellow/yellow/blue bull's eye cane in half lengthwise.

It should look like this.

Cut the blue/yellow/blue bull's eye cane in half lengthwise.
Step 16
It should look like this.

Cut one of the blue/yellow/blue halves in half, resulting in quarters.
Step 18

It should look like this. Set those quarters aside. They may be used later.
Step 19
Line up the two yellow/yellow/blue halves to form a right angle. Pick up the dark blue scraps and roll them into a ball.
Step 20
Roll the dark blue ball into a long, skinny snake.
Step 21
Cut the snake into 3 equal lengths. The lengths need to be as long as the canes are tall.
Step 22
Form a triangle with all of the pieces, using the snakes to fill in the gaps between the canes.

Step 23
It should look like this.

Step 24
Squeeze or smush the pieces together to remove the gaps, spaces, and air. Keep the overall shape triangular.

Step 25
Lay this triangle down so that the blue/yellow/blue cane-half is laying flat on the work surface. Cut the triangle in half lengthwise.
Step 26
Now there should be two triangles that look like this.
